About PNG to JPG conversion
JPG is ideal for sharing photos and screenshots that were saved as PNG: files are often several times smaller and open on any device.
JPG cannot store transparency. Vimorby fills transparent areas with a background colour you choose (white by default) and tells you when this happened, so no area turns unexpectedly black.
Use the quality setting to trade size for detail. 85–90% is visually close to the original for most images.
